Frequently Asked Questions
What is Smart Azan?
Smart Azan is a modern solution that automatically plays the Azan (call to prayer) on your smart speakers and devices such as Amazon Alexa, Google Nest, Fire TV, Samsung Smart TVs (with Alexa built-in), nVidia Shield, and more.
Once set up, Smart Azan plays the Azan automatically at the correct prayer time for your city — every day — without you having to open an app or press any button. It’s like having your own digital Muazzin at home.
Smart Azan is the only app that brings Azan automation to smart home devices, making it easier than ever to stay connected to your faith and prayer schedule.
What's the difference between Google & Alexa Speaker Solution?
In contrast, Alexa devices do not depend on a Wi-Fi connection to your phone and can play the Azan even if your phone is turned off.
Additionally, Google Speakers rely on a mobile app to function, whereas Alexa offers a web-based, one-time setup solution, making it more convenient for users who prefer not to rely on their phones for their smart speaker's functionality.
